Blank Canvas | Lori&Richard: Kleinevalleij, Wellington
Lori and Richard live in the UK and came down to South Africa on a venue hunt expidition in November of 2014. We spent two days with them, driving far and wide in search of the perfect venue and had such a blast that it felt like we spend these two days with friends. They were so much fun to be around that the hours just flew by and we were almost sad when they set their hearts on Kleinenvalleij and our little adventure was over.

Lori&Richard: Kleinevalleij, Wellington

Lori and Richard live in the UK and came down to South Africa on a venue hunt expidition in November of 2014. We spent two days with them, driving far and wide in search of the perfect venue and had such a blast that it felt like we spend these two days with friends. They were so much fun to be around that the hours just flew by and we were almost sad when they set their hearts on Kleinenvalleij and our little adventure was over.

They wanted to show their friends from overseas the splendour of our mountains and treat them to a wedding they would never forget. They were meticulous in their choices of food and beverages and brought a lot of fun elements into the wedding. Lori’s family is from South America, so they flew in a special bottle of tequila for each table and a few compulsory shots were had by all the guests. (One tequila, two tequila…)

Their wedding day started out rainy and overcast, but the skies cleared just in time for the ceremony and everything looked and smelled as if it had just come from the laundromat. It was beautiful. They had such a special day and we hope that they will look back on it with fond memories and warm hearts.
