Starry, starry night... Vincent van Gogh Inspired - Blank Canvas

Starry, starry night…

“Starry, starry night

Flaming flowers that brightly blaze

Swirling clouds in violet haze

Reflect in Vincent’s eyes of china blue

Colors changing hue

Morning fields of amber grain

Weathered faces lined in pain

Are soothed beneath the artist’s loving hand”

Excerpt from the song ‘Vincent’ by Don McLean

For this shoot, we drew our inspiration from the painting by Vincent van Gogh and we tried to paint our own version of his Starry Night in hues of blue, violet, yellow and gold. We wanted to create the same swirling momentum by making use of light and reflection and wanted to bring across the same sense of timelessness that one gets when looking at his artwork.
