Karoo to Stellenbosch, a warm Winter wedding

Bianca and Bennett are farmers from the Karoo who lost their hearts on the beauty of the Stellenbosch vineyards. They are a warm couple with lots of heart and wanted their wedding to reflect that in the most elegant way. It being a Winter wedding, Bianca chose rich colours like rust, soft salmon, marsala and gold to underpin the theme and we played with light in various shapes and sizes to create the ambience they were after.

While Cavalli’s views are majestic, the venue itself is very modern. We used it as a blank canvas and by suspending massive floral installations incorporating the beautiful, rich colours and greenery, we created the look that they were after. Luxurious, rust napkins made a statement on the tables, while pillar candles in mocca and marsala added ambience along with more colour. Naked bulbs and chandeliers peeped out from among the suspended arrangements and even the cuffs on the bulbs echoed the theme.

Your immediate thought upon entering the hall was one of inviting opulence and the guests marvelled at the attention to detail in the stationery and the carefully placed monograms.

It was a beautiful celebration for a beautiful couple and that all the suppliers loved working on. The theme was simply perfect for a Winter wedding and the end result and the delight on the couple’s faces warmed all of our hearts.

PS: We are so humbled and grateful to have won an award for our work on this wedding on the Belief International Wedding Forum: https://beliefweddingplanners.com/awards/12th-edition⠀

It would not have been possible without incredible team work from all the suppliers listed below.
