THE PERFECT MATCH
We met in 2005 while studying performing arts at Tshwane University of Technology. Over the next few years, our paths kept crossing in the weirdest ways until we both landed in Cape Town with our hubbies in 2010.
Planning our own weddings unleashed an unexpected passion for the industry. In May 2010, we started Blank Canvas. We spent the rest of the year immersed in the industry. We learnt all we could and linked up with the most amazing suppliers we now call friends. The Cape Town wedding industry has plenty to offer – we soaked it all in. With a city at the forefront of design as inspiration, we move with the trends.
Excellent service lies at the heart of what we do.If our background in the Arts has taught us one thing, it’s that “the show must go on”. Crisis? What crisis?! Rest assured that whatever “crisis” pops up behind the scene, we can handle without you or your guests being none the wiser.
We adore our husbands and kids (two each!) and we aim to build a business that becomes a legacy they can be proud of.
