When we started our wedding planning journey with Tim and Myriame, he was loosely based in Cape Town (but travelling extensively for work) while Myriame was based in Canada. Setting up Zoom calls were quite challenging and poor Myriame had to set alarms for all hours of the night sometimes. Working with them was such a sweet experience. They were an amazing couple to get to know and helping them navigate from dream wedding to seeing it become a reality was a joy. They wanted understated, fairytale elegance and even the sunset played along to match their expectations. Dream Team: Planning...

Tied with a pretty ribbon – WFS at the Zeitz
Each year, we have the privilege to be a part of Woolworths Financial Services' CEO Awards. It is always one of my favourite events and I look forward to it the whole year, for various reasons. The people we get to take hands with are really amazing to work with and the ethos of the company never fails to impress. We always get to weigh in on the theme and the whole look and feel of the event and that just makes my little creative heart beat wildly! In 2024, we were at a bit of a cross-roads when it came to deciding whether to include the entire company, or keep it a bit more exclusive....
Perfectly Peachy Pantone
It's the year 2024 and the Pantone Colour of the Year is "Peach Fuzz." Almost every year, there is this almost "kid-before-Christmas" level of anticipation while I am waiting for Pantone to make their announcement. Almost every year, I am inevitably disappointed because my level of expectation is not met by the decidedly pedestrian colour that is deemed to reign supreme for the next 365 days. It was the same when Peach Fuzz received the crown and yet, once we started exploring this colour palette for this particular styled shoot, I was pleasantly surprised. Turns out, complimented by just...
Tourvest: Black and Yellow
Tourvest is one of our favourite corporate clients and we take hands with them a few times a year for their Cape Town functions. This function was Day 1 of a two day event and we chose to highlight the colours of their logo for both. For this function we chose black to off-set the yellow and make it pop and the end result was sublime. Cape Town gave its best and the mountain backdrops added its own drama to the fun and festive setting.
