We were thrilled when we were asked to plan this celebrity couple's wedding in JHB in 2012 and since it was their anniversary this week, we thought that we would do a bit of a “flashback” of their wedding for the blog. The wedding was held at the beautiful Oxbow Country Estate in Bronkhorstspruit, Gauteng and the theme was one we loved. They wanted to go “green” with their wedding, not just the colour scheme, but with some of the elements as well. So, mingled with silver and crystal, we played with wood and natural elements to bring detail to the day. The wedding was filled with so many...
Celebrating the Big 40, Old Hollywood style
In 2012, we planned and co-ordinated a very special client's 40th birthday with a J&B Met theme. When he approached us this year to help with his wife's 40th, we jumped for joy and said 'yes!' Carin and Hennie are both such amazing people and we really wanted to give her something special for her birthday. It suited her perfectly! By incorporating the furniture she already had in her home and...
Jody & Jim: A misty, mountain wedding celebration
Jim and Jody, all the way from London, had been vacationing at a quaint little guesthouse (with a very eccentric owner), in Camp's Bay for 8 years. Upon deciding to get married in Cape Town, this was their natural first choice for a wedding venue and we were called upon to help tie things together for them on the day.
Glitzy West Coast Glam

We loved the idea of a glamorous beach wedding and wanted to play around with gorgeous metallics to give some of the typically South-African elements a bit of a facelift. Both Langebaan and Paternoster played host to our shimmering soiree and the results – as you can see- were simply sublime! The base of our table was a rose gold, sequenced tablecloth and crowning the festivities was a sardine chandelier, sprayed...
All black, with a touch of gold
Our inspiration for this styled shoot, came from a picture that we saw on Pinterest. It was a close-up of a table setting, with a black tablecloth, black plate and black cutlery. We fell in love with how luxurious and glamorous it looked!
