Karoo to Stellenbosch, a warm Winter wedding

Bianca and Bennett are farmers from the Karoo who lost their hearts on the beauty of the Stellenbosch vineyards. They are a warm couple with lots of heart and wanted their wedding to reflect that in the most elegant way. It being a Winter wedding, Bianca chose rich colours like rust, soft salmon, marsala and gold to underpin the theme and we played with light in various shapes and sizes to create the ambience they were after. While Cavalli’s views are majestic, the venue itself is very modern. We used it as a blank canvas and by suspending massive floral installations incorporating the...

African Safari through Nooitgedacht Estate, Stellenbosch

Our beautiful African landscapes and wild animals were part of the motivation for John and Jenny to bring all their guests from the Philippines, America and many other countries all the way to Cape Town for their wedding. The event took place in different sections and we wanted to take the...

Beauty from Ashes: Betty’s Bay, Cape Town

This wonderful couple took the phrase “beauty from ashes” quite literally and did not let the devastating Betty’s Bay fires deter them from their dream to get married there. The ruins of their beloved family holiday home became the canvas upon which we created their most special day and it was truly something magical! Tim (all the way from Australia) and Leanie met years ago in a pub in Cape Town and through lots of perseverance (ironically, also the name of aforementioned pub) kept their relationship alive over distance and time. When they finally had the opportunity to settle in the...

Bohemian: Cristin and Ian, Die Woud, Caledon

Cristin and Ian, two avid travelers who live in Tanzania, chose Cape Town as their wedding destination of choice! They wanted a relaxed, bohemian style wedding and Die Woud in Caledon provided the perfect backdrop to their nature-inspired nuptials. They wanted to create an atmosphere that would welcome the guests and wanted tons of fairy lights to create the perfect, warm ambience. Most of the greenery were suspended above the tables and intertwined with lights, leaving the tabletops clear and clutter free. Candles brought a glow down to eye level and stunning floral napkins created...
