16 Feb Lee & Chris: A Charming, Coral & White Philadelphia Wedding
In a small, postcard town just outside of Durbanville, there is a charming little place called De Malle Meul. It has become synonomous with Philadelphia and it greets you warmly when you turn into the main street. It used to be the old mill and still bears a lot of the history within its walls.
After being turned away from one venue, Lee and Chris found De Malle Meul the perfect place for them to start their lives together and what a beautiful start it turned out to be! The weather was perfect and everything came together magically for them on the day.
The guests sat on hay bales, covered in soft white blankets for the ceremony and Lize Beekman serenaded them as they walked down the aisle. (Her soulful voice and beautiful music had most of us in tears…)
Slow Jack took over the entertainment from the pre-drinks into evening and guests munched, mingled and danced until the early hours of the morning.
It was a beautiful day for two beautiful brides and the glow on their faces made even the candlelight seem dull and dreary.
