Vimal and Aalia met in Tanzania where they both work. A lovely, energetic and fun couple, they chose Cavalli Estate in Stellenbosch for their traditional Hindu ceremony. They wanted something simpler and more western for their reception and the hall at Cavalli estate was the perfect blank canvas for this.

It was possibly the windiest day in the history of Cape Town which proved to be a challenge for the Hindu ceremony, but a caged burner did the trick and all the traditions could be upheld. This being our first Hindu ceremony, it was beautiful to behold the age old traditions and rituals that make up their promises to each other. I was truly touched.

Guests moved on to the lawn for pre-drinks, where they could drink in the absolutely breathtaking vista of the mountains as the sun set and afterwards enjoyed a traditional buffet and a cake table that was heavy laden with the most amazing variety of delicious cakes!
