Cristin and Ian, two avid travelers who live in Tanzania, chose Cape Town as their wedding destination of choice! They wanted a relaxed, bohemian style wedding and Die Woud in Caledon provided the perfect backdrop to their nature-inspired nuptials.

They wanted to create an atmosphere that would welcome the guests and wanted tons of fairy lights to create the perfect, warm ambience. Most of the greenery were suspended above the tables and intertwined with lights, leaving the tabletops clear and clutter free. Candles brought a glow down to eye level and stunning floral napkins created interest on each guest’s plate.

The bride’s stunning bohemian dress set the tone for the celebration and the incredible surrounds played right into their theme for their wedding day. 

A gin and tonic station, as well as a special whisky (brought in by the groom himself) provided the perfect lubrication to get everyone into the part spirit and the evening was one of fun and laughter.
