Perfectly Peachy Pantone

It’s the year 2024 and the Pantone Colour of the Year is “Peach Fuzz.”

Almost every year, there is this almost “kid-before-Christmas” level of anticipation while I am waiting for Pantone to make their announcement. Almost every year, I am inevitably disappointed because my level of expectation is not met by the decidedly pedestrian colour that is deemed to reign supreme for the next 365 days.

It was the same when Peach Fuzz received the crown and yet, once we started exploring this colour palette for this particular styled shoot, I was pleasantly surprised. Turns out, complimented by just the right hues, peach is a wonderfully complex and diverse colour. There are myriads of tonal options to play with and it carries with it a wonderful sense of whimsy!

So, while we may have gotten off on the wrong foot, I daresay that I was won over and that I indeed now harbour fuzzy feelings about all things peachy.
