Our inspiration for this styled shoot, came from a picture that we saw on Pinterest. It was a close-up of a table setting, with a black tablecloth, black plate and black cutlery. We fell in love with how luxurious and glamorous it looked!

Black doesn’t have to be ‘gothic’ or ’emo’ and if used with the right accents it can be completely magical. We paired it with yellow and gold to create some sparkle against the all black back-drop and we used a few wonderful DIY-hacks to create black foliage for the centrepieces (nothing that a majestic leaf and a can of black spray paint can’t do!)

The look is completed with stunning lasercut stationery and our bride rounds everything off in her dramatic black dress.

Be bold, this wedding season and remember that black IS the new black.
