This wedding formed a part of our journey with VIA (chanel 147) for the program, “Kom ons trou, nou!” We had three days to plan this spectacular event and to help Mariette muster up the courage to pop the big question.

Mariette knew that she wanted an autumn themed wedding right from the start and she wanted to celebrate the rich colours of the changing leaves.

With it being the heart of Winter at the time of their wedding, we couldn’t do much with the leaves, but we more than made up for it with the vibrant colours and textures of the flowers.

The wedding took place at the beautiful Duck Point venue, right on the banks of the Vaal river and the day could not have been more perfect. The venue was transformed into an autumn, forest scene and the bride looked absolutely radiant.

We are eternally grateful to the amazing suppliers who worked hard (and very fast!) to make this dream come true for the couple!
