Tammy and Matt, all the way from Mianmar in Asia, chose Strandkombuis in Yzerfontein as the venue for their wedding. They fell in love with the picturesque views of the ocean and the miles of pristine white beach along its edge.

Their wedding day coincided with a super-moon, so the timing of the ceremony was a bit tricky and the waves wouldn’t let up until the very last minute, but it turned out to be an absolutely stunning day and the spectacular sunset more than made up for any grievances towards nature in the end.

Guests from all over the world enjoyed the seafood buffet and freshly baked breads that Strandkombuis is so famous for and the canapé table, heavy-laden with biltong and droëwors gave them a taste of South Africa they kept coming back for.
